Which is the most readily available solution for viewing 3d animations of ancient sites in stereoscopy? we need to set up 15 viewing stations (probably something like a "peep-show", that is some glasses stuck into a wall which you look into) and we do not have enough space to fit regular crt monitors. So I believe that will cancel any shutterglasses solution. We do not want anaglyph, polarization, or in general passive solutions. So we're left with hmd built into the woodden wall we're preparing. What kind of decent quality hmd can I purchase? Whom from? Will they work from DVD's (better)or from computers? If so, with which plug-in shall I create the stereoscopy? Thanks a lot for any suggestion (By the way, I'm from Italy ...) |

www.i-glasses.com You could use flat panel displays and Akumira (our stuff: www.brightland.com/akumira/akumira.htm). Definitely the easiest to implement (and in your case, the cheapest). You could also use flat panels with prisms and do top/bottom or left/right stereo3D quickly and cheaply... Good luck, John |

You could use a CRT projector with 15 pcs 3D glasses, it'll saving your space. Please refer the "3D Theater" at http://www.iart3d.com . We've a 3D PowerDVD V2.55 software, which is for MPEGII Above/Below format. for your reference. Kenny Sales Manager i-Art Corporation http://www.iart3d.com |

I think that the most readily available solution to your problem is a product offered by Sensographic Systems. It is available on a custom manufactured basis. Take a look at http://www.sensographics.com |
