This has probably already been answered but has anyone used the old i-glasses VR with Nvidia's page flipping? Is it flicker free and how does it look not counting the low res. |

I used the old i-glasses with my GeForce2 for a little while. It actually works quite well, but I didn't find many games playable while in 3D. Keep in mind that the i-glasses have a relatively small field of view. This in and of itself isn't a problem, but most video games (at least most first person shooters) warp the F.O.V. to allow you to see more of the game world. This can be VERY disorienting in 3D. I did try a few racing games and found that the glasses were PERFECT for this style of game (where you only need to see the road ahead). Picture quality is fine. Sure it could be better (much, I'm sure) but most games are 100% playable. |
