Any recommendations on a software DVD player that will maintain Field Sequential 3D? |

You can try SHTSDVD (it's free) and POWERDVD (I've been told an old version supports the non de-interlacing option) .... but I've tested them. |

I use WinDVD. It does not have a interlacing option, but if you download DVDGenie it allows you to select interlace from DVDGenie and it works. However, all of the monitor's relsolutions I have tried you have to put the movie in windowed mode and not full screen. Sometimes you have to free resize the window to get it to the proper size so your interlaced desktop will line up with the movies interlacing. I just drag the window with my glasses on until it looks right. |

I forgot to add a few things. To get DVDGenie in to make WinDVD interlaced you select the WinDVD tap and then "More Options" on the bottom right. In the "Deinterlace Mode" selcet "Force Weave" and then click apply. I think it will do force weave with other DVD players but you have to look on DVDGenie first. It only does it on a few others. |
