I have Linkbox solutions available for sale. We will have them ready this weekend. They will be 400.00. They display video on the VFX1 on any PC with resolution tested up to 1024 X 768. The unit has adjustable brightness, sharpness, a zoom mode, and scalable vertical and horizontal postions. It also has a VGA pass through so you can view it on your monitor at the same time. The VFX1 will have to be sent in for a modification. This is too ensure that the backlights come on everytime. Send me an email at klmellott@hotmail.com if interested. Thanks Kevin |

I got my VFX1 to work in a Celeron 300a box with an AGP video card. Works great and I didn't have to do anything special.. just plugged it in. Most games are TOO fast now. I have to experiment with moslo or something.. It's an ATI all-in-wonder 2x AGP (Rage Pro chipset I believe). E-mail me at belrophon@hotmail.com for particulars or post here. Thanks, G Vincent |

I didn't do anything special.. just the video card ATI ALL-IN-WONDER. It has a a port they call something else on it. It's basically a VESA connector with some additional pins for something they had in mind at the time. Don't bother contacting ATI though. I flamed them because I asked for specs on it, and they got back to me like 6 weeks later stating it wouldn't work. They didn't even know what a VFX1 was!! Turnover I guess. Anyways, that's the scoop. I have seen other ATI AGP vid cards with the same connector. It's an old one now. Mine has a whooping 8 megs of video memory. It was available as a 4 or 8 meg model. I have the deluxe version I guess Again, the card is the key. I'll tear the box down and pull the card to get the exact chipset for y'all when I'm not so tired. It shouldn't be hard to fgure out though. Again, I didn't do Jack Schitt.. just hooked up the VFX and chained the VIP card to the vid card as per normal. This is all probably moot now as the boys have cracked the mystery of bypassing the VIP card which allows better resolution. Just a matter of time to have this AND head tracking. I'll cut a cheque then.. Hope this helps in the meanwhile. I'll be back. G. Vincent |

Hi, I've been talking to a distributer on the scan converter. If I buy bulk I can get a hugh discount. However this means I have to sell several of the units in order for it to be worth the time and money. I can offer the units at 300.00 if you do the modification yourself. If you still need me to do the mod then the price will be 350.00. I know its still higher then you guys wanted but its better. What do u think? -Kevin klmellott@hotmail.com |
