These are really cool! Now for some questions: 1) These use the Wicked3D driver, what is Win3D? A CD came with my package, VR Show. It says to install Win3D. Do I still need the Win3D even though I installed the Wicked3D? 2) The glasses auto switch to 3D when a game starts. How do they know that DirectX or something is running? If I write a program using DirectX to draw a cube, will the glasses auto start into 3D? 3) If I have Left/Right images, how do I view them? VR Show? If so, again, do I need Win3D or will Wicked3D work? These things are AWESOME! |

Think you can install nvidia drivers and wicked3d driver and win3d drivers on the same computer at once. Make sure that only one at a time is actived or you will get stereo in stereo. www.nvidia.com www.win3d.com www.wicked3d.com Try the drivers and docs at these sites and you'll turn from newbie to pro just like that. Rock on! |

I have an ATI 128 All-In-Wonder. I've found out that the Eye3D is Wicked3D driver. I don't need the Win3D, since I have Eye3D. I'm new to these and I tried some interlaced pictures on the Web last night. Real nice! It's a different mode than playing games. What signal is present at the VGA connector in a DirectX game that signals the glasses to turn on? I want to download some Left/Right images and view them. I understand I use 3DMaker for that. I was confussed because it says to load Win3D, but I already have Wicked3D. I-Art people say I don't need Win3D, so I'll try loading 3DMaker and try it. These are really neat. A 2D display and TV is boring now! ( TV always was!) |

Does any one know of an all in one solution for stereoscopic 3d? I bought the Eye3D 3-in-1 wireless for my work computer which is an Win2k quadro machine, but so far in trying to play Counter Strike, NVidia drivers have failed and Scitech Display Doctor 7.0 beta (with GLDirect 2) works in interleaved mode instead of sync doubling (Eye3D 3-in-1 doesnt support line blanking) so that failes for me. I tried to install the Eye3D/Wicked3D drivers but they dont install on Win2k, it looks like I may be able to use the Wicked3D Pro demo drivers but they say H3D compatible shutter glasses (which I am not sure if Eye3D is compatible), and also there isnt a lot of documentation at wicked3d.com to clear any thing up for me. |

Never mind I got the GLDirect to work with Scitech Display Doctor 7 beta, just fine. I just didnt realize I was using the CAD driver versus the game driver. Although I am still curious if there is an all in one solution, for all video cards, all glasses/HMDs, and both direct3d and opengl, with a nice way of controlling the stereo effect. Anyway, Eye3d 3-in-1 wireless is a sweet deal. |
