For the money do you think picking up a used VFX3D would be fine or the new i-glasses 3D or CY's version. Im into buying something so any good advice is considered thanks |

It depends on what you want to do with the HMD and how much you can get a used VFX3D for these days. If you just want to play games and can find a VFX3D under 1000 and don't mind lower resolutions, then perhaps that may be a good deal, but if you also want to use the HMD as an actual computer monitor from time to time in addition to playing games in 3D with better resolution, then I would definitly look into the i-glasses svga or Cy-Visor. I noticed that Virtual Realities is now selling the i-glasses svga 3D for 1350. I own the i-glasses svga 3d and love it. It's the coolest piece of hardware I've ever owned. |

Thanks Neil, yes for playing games is the main reason. I was impressed with the nvida stereo drivers they came out with and using the revelators looked pretty cool. Yes I did see that combo, not sure how well thier head tracking is!! I dont think I'll mind the resolution if the 3D makes it worth the WILD!!! tnx.. |

The Best source of infomation comparing the I-Glasses SVGA and the Cy-Visor, with detailed info on each is at: http://www.cgsd.com/SonyHMDpages/ Note, they call the Cy-Visor as the 'i-visor'. |
