I have bought the old I-glasses (with VGA-video-headtracker) and wonder if it's possible to use some existing driver to play D3D/OpenGL/Glide games in Stereo3D ? /Tobias |

If these are the classic i-glasses they should support alternate-line stereo-format. You can use VRCaddy for D3D and OpenGL. Unfortunately the driver is only available for registered VR-Joy users. Check http://www.vrstandard.com and http://www.vrcaddy.com There are also some games which support the i-glasses natively: Descent 1 & 2, Comanche 3, Armored Fist 2, Shattered Steel, WinQuake. Hi Christoph Thanks for Your fast answer. What is the easiest way to obtain these drivers ? Should buy "VR-Joy" (what's that?) ? Do You have any personal experience of this setup ? /Tobias |

I recently suggested that they should sale vrcaddy separately, but with no effect (yet). Try to mailto:info@vrstandard.com , they might be looking for some more beta testers for the new VRcaddyME. Finding VRCaddy compatible to i-glasses might be another argument for separate sale.. |

I have been searching through old messages and have seen reports that Elsa revelator drivers should do the work, Any comments ? |

It depends on the actual hardware. There are several i-glasses models and several connector boxes. I'm not a real expert for i-glasses, since I don't have them. The current i-glasses don't have a VGA-input, just S-Video. This S-video connector accepts frame-sequential stereo format. Some vendor(s) distribute them with a VGA-connector box which is compatible to the Revelator drivers (frame sequential format). The classic i-glasses accepted line sequential format on the VGA-input. There are free images and games (the ones I mentioned earlier) in line-sequential format and the free Revelator driver for frame-sequential format. Just try both! Christoph |

You can also use the elsa revelator driver. If you have a riva tnt based graphic card, you can use the universal drivers. download it from www.elsa.com Maart |
