This player will not play the frame interleaved DVDs such as the iMax movie DVDs on my PC.

Does anyone know of a PC based DVD player which will play these movies?

Thanks
Mick

You can find more details in the DepthQ/software section on Lightspeed WWW ...

http://www.lightspeeddesign.com/3d/dq-software.html

DepthQ is originaly targeted for large screen stereo-video projection and for work with resolution much more higer than the stereoscopic DVD have . Direct playabck of stereoscopic DVD is in aplaha testing stage - but it works and full debugging depends on user request of this future ... You can do on the fly conversion directly from the interlaced signal from DVD into HW page flipping, sync. doubling, anaglyph, what you want ...

Mick,
Until you get DepthQ, try this:
1. Get DVD Genie from www.inmatrix.com
2. Get Intervideo WinDVD player
3. In DVD Genie press the WinDVD tab
4. Press "More options" button
5. In WinDVD Extra settings window choose "Force Wave" in DeInterlace Mode
6. Set you monitor resolution to 800x600
7. Run WinDVD
8. Choose Zoom tab in DVD Genie
9. Set Width to 730
10. Set Height to 548
11. Check Center X-Axis and Center Y-Axis
12. Select InterVideo WinDVD in the applications window of DVD Genie
13. Press Zoom button
Now the DVD is viewable in line blanking mode.
This works on my station: P III 500MHz, Matrox dual head G450, Another Eyes shutter glasses.
