Lots of people are looking for suitable DLP projectors for stereo projection with shutter glasses, and no one has been identified so far (apart from the very expensive Christie and Barco stereo projectors). There has also been some discussion on CRT TVs - and it seems that Loewe is the only model working in stereo at 100 Hz (this discussion is some years old, and new TVs which can be used, might have appeared). If you mean using a fresnel lens to convert the monitor into a projector, it has been discussed in this thread: http://www.stereo3d.com/discus/messages/21/385.html?1028723924 It seems complicated, but might be worth a try. If you're thinking of putting the fresnel lens in front of the monitor an look through it, I don't think 3X enlargement will be realistic. There'll probably be a lot of distortion. All in all, for larger presentations I can't recommend anything but an old-fashioned CRT projector for shutterglasses. Apart from the dual polarized projectors solution, that is. But maybe others can suggest other solutions. Alex |
