Hi After several horrible accidents (multiple disk HW crasches, hacking atttacks, networt reconfiguration) my server is back on line. See: http://mysak.umbr.cas.cz/~husakm/Public/main/stereopcvideo.html Nothing totaly new, but I hope that the old stuff is still usefull ... Enjoy (until next hacking attack :-((( ) |

Welcome back Michal, I have missed your site. I am still a little confused, if I wish to view stereo movies using OpenGL page-flipping and Revelator glasses (with SoftQuadro under Windows 2000) how do I do it with your software and where do I get sample movies ? I looked at the Zoom Player you refer to and their is no mention of stereo. In other words, is there any software I can download from your site or is it meant for commercial developers ? Hi David The OpenGl player (GLSRenderer) for movies is not a free software . I have spend several months, maybe one year, on the development - it was nessesery to make a comerical product from it to be able to continue in development on hi level. See http://www.depthq3d.com/ for the result. Zoom player GUI engine is only one of the sub components of the whole software package ... You can get from my WWW several other tools for free - Winx3D based stereo movie palyer, stereo editing tools for Premiere, other stereoscopic stuff ... |

Thanks Michal. I think I will have to sell my house before buying the LCD projector :-) I have looked at your guide to making stereo movies which suggests a NuVision synch doubler is required and your Winx3D-based player software which does not require it. It says that Revelator glasses are not supported, but I thought Winx3d do support them ? In other words, can I view the sample (Mars Landing) movie page-flipped with Revelator glasses and your software ? If not, is there any way I can view it (but please, no anaglyphs :-) ) ? Hi David The DepthQ software works without the projector on monitors as well ... See the Software section of www.depthq3d.com for details ... You can see the movies from my WWW in stereo in folowing ways: 1) Without any special software in combination with LCD galases equiped with synch. doubling HW. Iart 3D Eye 3D 4-1 one e.g. ... or 2) On any graphic card and OS by my Wix3d player + Winx3d in line balnking mode + LCD glasses supporting in HW line blanking or (not tested by me) 3) Under Win 98/Me by Winx3d in HW page flipping mode + Relevator + my Winx3d movie player ... or (the best solution, but expenisve) 4) By the DepthQ software on almost anything through any existing stereoscopic HW or (no coments, you will see the problems yourself) 5) Testing version of Stereographic Parallax Player - see www.stereographic.com for details Is this list enought for you now :-) ? |

Yes it is ! Option 3 works fine under Windows ME. 10 days of computation for the Mars Landing lasted a short time :-). Now I will have to read your information on making my own stereo movies (micro and macrophotography subjects. Timelapse ? ). Thanks. David |
