Are there any drivers available for the old Virtual IO VGA i-glasses that will work under Windows 2000 Pro with an ATI Radeon 7500? I have looked at and tried WINx3D, but, AFAICT, this VR gear is only supported under Windows 95/98/ME with them (and, can I say, yuck! I donot even own a copy of these ancient OSs because I am strictly 2K or XP Pro). The i-glasses have the "scan converter box" which accepts VGA input from the video card. Thank you very much for any help! Robert Templeton |

Sorry to say, they only have drivers and software for the headtracker and not for actual stereoscopic display. Robert Templeton |

Well, the process of reconciliation is underway. I've just ordered a VisionTek XTasy GeForce4 TI 4200 (that's a mouthful) for only $138! Boy are they hard to find in stock! My local MicroCenter says, "They'll be here on Monday." They always say that. So, if I can't get any of my current glasses to work with the 4200, there are plenty out there that do work with the nVidia. Keeping my fingers crossed for no-headache FPD support. Can you recommend a pair of 3D shutter glasses that'll work with the nvidia stereo drivers under W2K Pro? Robert Templeton |
