How about if we try to make a list of the best 3D games.
It's pretty hard to test every new game on the market.
I do believe that many have their own ideas about what game/s is above the average 3D experience.
Also that ghosting and the 3D "feeling" is different from game to game.

I hope that the list is going to be long.
So here is a little contribution.

StarWars Rogue Squadron
GhostRecon
Maffia(Looks good so far)

Strategy: Earth2150
Driving sim: Need for Speed (Hot pursuit or High Stakes)... I know, it's an old game, but I haven't come across any games that beat the beautiful landscapes in NFS.

Buth suggestions are with focus on how good they look - not how realistic or exciting they are. I think that's the main issue in stereo gaming.

Very good idea, Nvidia stereo panel rating are not entirely accurate, not mentioning that it's quickly out of date.

Flight Sims that are stereoscopic compatible with
Nvidia driver 30.82, GeForce3 (my setup):

EECH
CFS3 (Fantastic)
WW2F (Classic)
F4 SP3 (Surprisingly good for a 5 yrs old game)
SF: PJ1 (Excellent cockpits compared to F4)

Racing that are stereoscopic:

GPL D3D patch
NFP: PU
Nascar 4
Nascar 2002
Nascar Heat
Mobil Championship
Revolt

stereoscopic FPS:
MOHAA (No 3d cursor, hard to aim)
Operation Flashpoint
NOLF2 (No 3d cursor, can't aim)
RTCW
Ghost Recon and its addons
Descent 3

RPG that are stereoscopic :
Morrowind

That's all off my head, will update when I get back home.

The 3D cockpits in CFS3 are excellent and lend well to stereoscopic viewing. The a/c 3d models are also beautiful, lighting, shinyness are very
well done. Clouds, terrain, scenery are all 3D objects and are fantastic in stereoscopic. The only problem so far is the damage smoke and explosions which are at screen depth, ruinning the effects somewhat. Personally it's a must buy for stereovision effects.

Hope this helps,
KB

NHL 2002 is awesome with these glasses. The white ice makes the ghosting almost totally disappear. Try the arena camera and it is exactly like you are there watching a hockey game. Absolutely the most stunning performance I have got with my edimensionals.

Otherwise fs 2002 and IL2 Sturmovik looks awesome as well as f1 2002. Op flashpoint good also.

Mafia didn´t work for me because of convergense problem. works when in car but not when walking.

Most rally games are awesome like rc 2000 and rally trophy. RSC too but I hasn´t the power to run with stereo3d enabled in that game.

Are there any good space rts like homeworld that looks really good with 3d-glasses. would be interested to see how it would be like :)

I'm looking for a suggestion: in a few sites I've read entusiastic review about Dungeon Siege with 3d glasses.
I try this game but I cant see any 3d effect!!!(I try with depth/separation/convergence etc but I see only one scene panning on the screen)

tnx
Gio

hey, dungeon siege DOES work, but you need to use the nvidia 41.09 video drivers, which sucks because not all games work with them, and you can't access the stereo menu. so make sure if you use them, that you have stereo set to toggle.

I actually went and bought CFS3 following the recommendations in this thread.
What a waste of $40...
Yeah, it is very playable in stereo and you, indeed, could say "stereo is perfect", however, the game itself is a complete crap. $40 for this?
It doesn't come close to flying experience in BF1942, and flying is only a part of BF.
My advice to all who thinks about getting the game for its stereo qualities DON'T.
My recommendation for stereo gaming is MAFIA, well, the driving part of this game, shooting is hard because of the old laser sight issue.

Serge.

Mafia looks great in 3D with my Revelator and 41.09 drivers. You have to make some serious adjustments to make it look good though (CTRL F5).

Just got URU, Ages beyond Myst. It gives itself to perfect 3D. Of course, in order to enjoy it, you have to be the "type" who enjoys Myst style games. I do, and I am getting a heck of 3d kick out of URU, truly a spectacular and "natural for 3d" game.

OK, I know I'm gonna get flak for this but....

All the Tomb Raider games are great in stereo, and the 3D effect actually helps you play the game, being that much of it is figurin how to get from point A to point B :)

"Strategy: Earth2150"
If I'm not mistaken, this is the game that had the buildings about 50feet above the terrain. It looked really bad. Other than that maybe it was OK for stereo but this was ridiculous.

MDK 2 is by far the best i have tested,
well worth checking out, 3d effect is awsome, if only all games worked as well.

I like X-Plane v6.70 for a stereo flight sim.

And I still play Black & White some times just because it had a great look in stereo.

Dungeon Keeper 2 should be noted as well...
