right im a bit of a noob but im having probs with asus glasses plugged into the 8200 delux (gf3ti500) when i try to change the stereo viewer type. it seems to me that theres a simple fix to the asus problem. first am i correct in assuming the cause of the problem is that asus glasses trigger the wrong eyes lcd panel for each frams so it is inverted? if i am then the solution seems simple to me. the connector to the graphics card is a simple stereo jack so it has 3 parts. i havent done a pinout so im gonna guess the pinout is (will test later) tip = lcd1 middle = lcd2 bottom = ground why not just swap the lcd 1 and lcd 2 wires? inverting the image and making it work properly is there any reason this wouldnt work? |

The ASUS glasses shouldn't be in reverse as long as you use the ASUS VR drivers or the nVidia drivers in ASUS mode. Maybe you got some glasses with wrong wiring. Your plan for an adaptor should work, but if you can handle a soldering iron anyway it would be much much better if you build a replacement controller with autosync and syncdoubler. This will enhance your possibilities bit time. Check http://stereo3d.com/homebrew.htm Christoph |
