These are the only decent Stereo-3D or VR forums I have found: 1. http://www.stereo3d.com/discus/messages/board-topics.html (This forum of course.) 2. http://forums.stereovision.net/index.php 3. http://www.rainbowsymphony.com/wwwboard/index.html 4. http://www.vrsource.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=phpBB_14&file=index 5. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/3dtv/ And, there are a few news groups: 1. alt.3d - spam mostly 2. alt.binaries.pictures.stereo - spam mostly 3. alt.lang.vrml - spam mostly 4. comp.lang.vrml - a few good posts 5. sci.virtual-worlds - completely dead 6. sci.virtual-worlds.apps - completely dead Have I missed any? They sure look dead to me. I find it hard to believe so few people are interested in stereo-3d and VR. I know there are many hundreds of us who have the gear and actually use it. I see them buying the stuff like crazy on ebay! Where to heck is everyone? Virtual-cat got your tongue? P.S. I left out all the 3d-camera and anaglyph only forums. I also left out forums that had too few messages to bother with. | ||

Peter Wimmer: Yes, but did you see the "Stereo Goggles" forum? I gave the link to the whole board. Under the "Video Card" section you'll find a brand new "Stereo Goggles" forum. It's brand new so it will take a while. It already has a few posts and is only HOURS OLD. They get allot of traffic (huge traffic) so perhaps it will do well. Mo is better! I figure anything we can do to promote stereo-3d and VR is good. I'm about to put up an obligatory "Stereo-3d and VR Links" page. I'm not sure what else I can do to be a stereo-3d booster. Perhaps that would be another good thread here, "How can we promote Stereo-3d and VR?" | ||
