I was wondering if anyone has tried the eDimensional trackIR with the i-glasses. You will obviously loose some freedom of movement over the Intertrax but it is way less expensive. Thanks for your comments Roger |

I have it, and yes it does the job and is good for the money. It doesn't work all the time [just like other trackers] but at least you can eventually get it running again. The troubleshooting guide tells you to close the program and unplug the unit for 30 minutes if you have problems. But from my experience, you don't even have to unplug it, just close program, wait 5 minutes, restart. It might take several tries, so it takes a little patience-is 15 minutes too much?. |

30 minutes sounds like an overheating problem; very strange, my i-glasses don't like it when it gets hot either. The designers of these products must live in Siberia. I think I will get one anyway and try it out. Thanks for the info |

Well, I wouldn't say overheating, as it doesn't get hot. In fact once you get it running, it'll run for hours. I would just say it isn't perfect. |

A great cheap solution is the cam2pan software that you can use iwth any camera. The camera detects your headmovements to move the mouse. Not great for 360 but to look up/down, right/left like you look with a mouse it's great and you can't beat the value (it's $30). I just tried it with my i-glasses. |
