Hey guys, I just purchased a Visette Pro 2 and need a dual vga video card to produce stereo 3D. I need left images on one VGA port and right images on the other VGA port. Will the ATI Radeon VE/7200 64MB Ddr & Dual Head work? They are only 50.00 on ebay. I've read on this board that the GeForce2 32MB MX DH with TwinView will work. Am I better off with this? Thanks Kevin |

This is more of a software problem than a hardware problem. You need the more3D driver from http://www.more3d.com/ It requires a GeForce4Ti or FX and comes at a 'professional' price. Christoph |

If you have a dual output Quadro card (can by made from your GeForce2 by soft-quadro hack or by moving 2 resistors) you can put it in a mode in with output from OpenGl stereoscopic application will be automaticlay redirected to the correct connectror. Quadro 4 750/900 XGL or FX could be used as well :-) Dual output Quadro can procude in this way both page flipping stereo or dual output stereo. Native OpenGL tereoscopic application (Quake II, Quake III, DepthQ, Parallax Player, CAD software e.t.c ..) will be compatible with this mode ... Another method is to design your application to produce 2 views and scale them to dual full screen on normal GeForce twin view graphic card ... |

Download the Windows Media SDK kit, and take a look at some samples that they have, maybe you can do an app that expands across 2 cards sharing a common desktop. JB |
