I have got a VR helmet thats only identifying marks are the words "VRFX" and it hooks up to a box that says "Liquid Image". It has sony earphones, and i think i am missing cables to it. If you can help me identify what kind of VR system this is, can you tell me how to, and also maybe how to work it. ~Brett McLain |

Liquid Image went out of business so you will have a hard time getting any support from them. I never heared of VRFX, I think all the hmds liguid image made were called MRG. If you give a description of what this helmet looks like maybe I can figure out what kind of system it is. |

ok, well the helmet is blue green, very long, and fits on your head with the cable hanging out the back of the head. Its got headphones coming out the sides, and a screen inside the helmet. Its quite heavy. I found a sticker that said "MRG3.0c423NSR". We have it hooked up to a black box to our computer with a moniter cord, and we tried running duke nukem 3d. It works, and even in our browser it works, except everything is always sliding across the screen, or just blurring. I figure its a driver problem. I have a radeon SDR, possibly a 7000 version, but i don't really know. Its 64 mb and thats all i know. Do i need drivers? if so where do i get them. I got this thing at a garage sale so it could be broken, which could be why the screen goes nuts. And also how can i "calibrate" my helmet? Thx. ~brett mclain |

Brett, And I'm not trying to be rude here... But if you're unsure of the video card you have, you should not try to dable into VR just yet... Learn first my friend... The state of things with VR right now is not for the faint of heart |
