Is anyone selling one? How much do they sell retail? Are they any good? Should I wait for a newer model? Sorry about all the questions, it just seems like kind of a risky buy without even getting to try it. Any feedback would be alot of help.

The price I was quoted about 6 months ago was (are you sitting down)$1700.00US give or take a few. And the resolution is not game worthy by my standards(at least 1152x864).
