Converting 2D DVDs to 3D is impossible, but if you need a player to view 3D DVDs and videos on your PC, take a look at http://mitglied.lycos.de/stereo3d |

If you are used to looking at real stereoscopic 3D, I think you will be disappointed in any 2D to 3D conversion. If you have two eyes, you are used to looking at real stereoscopic 3D :-) Imagine trying to see a stereoscopic image with only one eye. Is this possible? Not really... I think most of the 2D to 3D conversion programs use a delayed field system, based on horizontal movement. It *sort of* works in some scenes where the conditions are nearly perfect, but there are many, many limitations in trying to convert typical 2D scenes, which don't have simple, precise horizontal panning movements. The few conversion programs that I have looked at are totally unsatisfying to me. P. K. Kid 3D Adventures Of The Puppet Kite Kid: (All G-Rated) http://www.PuppetKites.net |
