Anthon 1400mhz 768 meg ram Gforce 2 GTS/PRO with 64meg ram Happaugue Theater WinTv Card AOC 17" Monitor running at 85 hertz Nvidia Detonator 30.87 Graphic software Nvidia 30.87 Stereo Software X3D Shutter Glasses X3D TV Gateway software X3D PC Gateway software X3D Controller Most people probably have set up their system as per instructions for Nvidia software. I found that by doing the following above the general instructions that the 3D quality of picture dramatically improves. This is based on personal experience so it may not work on all systems. After installing the nvidia software goto Display properties>Advanced>GeForce2GTS>Aditional properties>3D Antialiasing settings and click on manually and select the antiailasing mode to Off. Goto Direct 3D Settings and enable fog, Mipmap Detail Level to Best image quality. (This is the important bit) Put PCI Texture Memory size up up 256MB of system for textures in PCI mode. Apply>OK and close all. Open X3D Tv Gateway, Right click on the window to gain access to Options>Video Capture filter This opens to Video Decoder. Select the video standard for your country and apply. Goto Video Proc amp and click on brightness and move till required level. The same with contrast and saturation. Keep a note of you prefered settings as they have to be reset manually again, if the computer is closed down. I input a SVideo signal from a normal DVD player and the difference in quality is fantastic. I run my 17" monitor at 85mhz and watch at a distance of 8-10 feet from the monitor screen with X3D shutter glasses. This is what works on my system, change the settings at your own risk if you think your system is capable of supporting the changes. Johnew |
