Hi, I have noticed a 3D version of Amityville 3 on eBay. I have purchased several 3D titles from eBay and have been extremely impressed with the results, but in the listing for Amityville 3D the movie is listed as being in "Living 3D" and I am not sure what this means? Will this version not have the same impact in terms of coming out of the screen effects as other 3D movies such as Jaws 3D and Friday the 13th 3D? LCD shutter glasses are required to view this movie but I am not sure where to bid if this is some awful 3D process that only adds depth, such as the vile Flash gordon 3D movie from Slingsht ent? Can you help me out? Many thanks for your time and for reading this post. |

Living 3D is the best of the 'Pseudo 3D' systems I have seen, it works extremely well on movies that were 3D in the first place - its worth getting. |

It's 2D to 3D converted CRAP. And it doesn't matter if it was originally shot in 3-D or not with these conversions, as the end 'new' 3-D effect is somewhat random and rarely effective. For more on "Living 3-D ", see the following thread: "How Amityville 3-D totally ruined my day" in this General 3-D Discussion board. Try 'em if you have to, but buyer beware. |

Ask yourself... "How disappointed do I feel like being on this transaction?" Then you will be mad at yourself for weeks on end becuse you bought it. For the sake of STEREOSCOPIC enthusiasts everywhere, please don't support "living 3-D" aka CRAP . It simply does not produce favorable results compared to the other true stereo 3-D titles you own. |

I had the same problem and infact bought Amityville 3D(living 3D) . Crap as well put before on this forum. IE Depending on how your sync box is set (that one button in front) If someone in the movie walks from theleft side of the screen to the right it may appear to be in 3D. when the opposite is done (character moves right to left) the opposite effect happens. All to often the 3d becomes inapropriate because in a typical movie various objects are moving around. Characters in the forground appear to be in the backround while others may be in there right place (in 3D). to sum up my confusing post; yes 2D to 3D converted movies just suck. |
