What type of stereoscopic controller do I need to have 3d image on a DLP 85hz projector (PLUS-880)

On some (most/all?) DLP projectors it's possible to watch 3D-VHS tapes using TV-shutterglasses - at least in NTSC format. You will see heavy flicker. VGA plus PC-shutterglasses should not work.

The reason for this is that in video-mode the projector works in sync with the video-signal to avoid artefacts.
