I've seen some cheap 2D HMDs for sale at: http://www.mp3playerstore.com/ They go for $180 (innovatek v190) and $250 (innovatek v490). You can cheap the specs at the website. I was wondering if anyone has purchased these glasses and if they are any good. For the specs on the site, they sound decent enough to watch a movie or play a game (optional PS2 connector). If anyone has used these or seen a review, please post. |

I don't know much about the products themselves but the "490" model seems pretty good for $249 as it has 230,400 pixel displays. (if its per-display). The FOV is 26' which is probably a little sub-par the 30' low-end standard but for under $250 it doesn't seem all that bad. |

They are junk and being renamed by other companies who resell HMDs. Beware these units are terrible. |
