G'day guys, I have been reading through some of the posts and I noticed that some HMD's have better FOV that others, and other HMD's have better resolution. Could someone please explain how the FOV works. I have the i-glasses SVGA 3d - with 800 by 600 resolution. The 3d effect is awesome. However, the only complaint I have about it is that my brain refuses to believe that there is a 100 inch screen in front of me - I dont get the same results as looking at a projected image - that is quite dissappointing. Would a HMD with better 'FOV' give me a more immersive experience? ie. Would it give me the impression of looking at a bigger screen? Thankyou for your help Ringo |

Ringo imsuprised nobody answered your question... Plenty of people have tried many things... Me I've seen that the screen is really way to small to get a feel that you are in the game.. Yes the 3D is cool but I'd use my shutter glasses with a higher Res and get the same feel... All the bigger FOV HMD's in the price ranger under $4,000 have the res like the Playstation I THINK!!! It's gonna be full of pixels.. So if the screen is closer to your eyes don;t you think you will feel more like you are there speically moving around.... My thoughts..................................Ku |
