Doubt this is "output" refresh rate. Probably more like "input" rate. If so, it won't work for stereo. - StereoGamer |

It's the new DDR 4x color wheel DLP. the X1 is a 2x color wheel and does 60Hz so 120-130Hz is feasible. Go to http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/index.php?s=25281b03470473010af5c18ee54a1035 and ask in the "under $3500 projector" forum what the native refresh rate is. You can only run in stereo mode at the native refresh rate and resolution. John |

I have the LP70. It works for stereo video, but not for VGA. The details are here: http://www.stereo3d.com/projection.htm It has 2 native refresh rates: 4x60Hz for NTSC and VGA and 4x50Hz for PAL. Christoph |

When I stated 4X speed I didn't mean that it turns at four different speeds I meant that it turns 4X the standard speed. The standard speed being 30 times per second (standard interlaced TV frequency). I may have this wrong but from what I've read the faster wheel is s'pose to help alieviate the "rainbow effect" that some people suffer seeing whist watching DPL displays and make for less motion blur. If I understand it correctly the wheel on my X1 spins at a rate of 60 times a second, hence the 60Hz refresh rate. The new technology projector wheels turn at 120 times a second which would give you a refresh rate of 120Hz. John |

Actually a single speed, 60Hz, 4 segment projector flickers at 240 Hz - kind of. ###which would give you a refresh rate of 120Hz. Yes, but this doesn't help for stereo3d, since the signal processing is stuck at 60 fps. Christoph |
