I want to create a simple starfield code with OpenGL. This starfield should be displayed at the HMD (dual DVI). Unfortunately I have no idea how to make this starfield 3D. Do I need seperate pictures for each eye? Can you give me an outline of producing OpenGL applications for HMDs? Thanks. |

1. find good book about programing for Opengl. 2. Program the starfield (preety easy). 3. Run your aplication on Nvidia&HMD. 4. Nvidia driver wil make the rest. Why OPengl, bot Directx? |

5. It will not work becouse latest nVidia wrapers have trouble with OpenGL wrapping 6. You will have zero control about stereoscopic scene geometry If you want to make a realy good stereoscopic program for HMD forget 1...6 and study standard OpenGl methods for stereoscopic support. |
