Hello...I'm a student pilot; what VR products/packages do you recommend for professional flight training, (say for Airbus A320/A340)? Where can I buy them?

Oh...and it's got to be affordable:-)

Thanks!

I'm interested as well and found this sight a few weeks back
http://www.avshop.com/index.html
There are some product categories on the right nav menu, one of interest 'Flight Simulator Controls'.
Find something you like and then search for it on ebay or some other auction site to get it cheaper.

Has anyone invented a cool virtual reality helmet or eye glasses or gloves that imitates the pilot's experience in the cockpit??

I just checked-out the edimensional website, neat stuff...thanks for the tip.

Thanks steelhed, butI didn't want to invest in any flight sim controls like the pedal and yoke since there are too many hardware components to get the cockpit 'feel'. I think the virtual reality concept, with only a few hardware to fool the senses, could do the trick more elegantly.

I plan on playing on my projection system and hope that will provide some good immersiveness. btw, I found that buy.com sells those controllers for less than what's on ebay (usually) new! Let us know how it turns out.
