Since many people awaits a good HMD do I have a cheap alternative.
This is my setup:
A fresnel lens, well worth the money!.
3D-glasses(E-D), speaks for itself even though the differance is not as big if you go -fresnel with glasses- aside from from -nothing to 3D-glasses-.
Headtracker, awesome with some flightsims, since I'm into those things.
And to top it of, Zalman's 5.1 headphones.
To give it a fair review. COOL!!

The price 394 dollars or 322 euros.
