I doubt you can find any. All of the available commercial DVD's conform to DVD standards, so you won't even find a full resolution (2x) paired movie (i.e., side-by-side or over/under). Maybe if the companies realized that most of us aren't even watching the field sequential movies via a DVD player and TV, they would give us a paired format that we could watch via our computers. This would also solve the NTSC 3:2 pulldown problem that virtually destroys FS movies. Somebody needs to start distributing 2x resolution MPEG 4, paired movies, but standard DVD players can't play them, so that's probably why it won't happen. It's a catch-22 :-( P. K. The NFB (National Film Board of Canada) have three hi-def stereo animated shorts ("Falling In Love Again", "Moonman", and "June") that were shown at the Ottawa animation festival last month. As I understand it these are not distributed on DVD at the moment but are shown in various festivals etc. I'm not sure who to contact there (probably the distibution or animation departments) but their main web site is www.nfb.ca |
