Hi all! I red the main difference was the ability for Quadro to manage stereo in windowed mode. Is it still true now or new drivers allow it with GeForce? Thanks! | ||

The Geforce can be BIOS modded to the quadro as they are the same card. I did my ti4400 some time ago but forget where i got the BIOS. there is a thread here from a couple of years back with a link to a site that explains how to do it and windowed mode compatability. I did find this when I did a search for IOS modded Quadro. Just use RivaTuner to set the PCI device ID to a Quadro MXR upon Windows boot. This way, you get all the Quadro features, but do not have to solder or reflash your card. This trick saves much time, effort, and problems. Try a Google search for quadro BIOS mod I just did and got several hits. John |
