You do not need a 3 pin DIN stereo connector on laptop ... If you have Quadro Go inside you can use DCC pin-9 signal for perfect synchronization (there exist VGA pass through connectors with the 3 pin DIN VESA out) ... If you do not have Quadro (but you have nVidia card isnside) you can: 1) Play games and full screen OpenGL/DirectX app 2) My company will offer soon drivers adding the Qudro stereoscopic futures to non Quadro nVidia cards (in a legal way, no SoftQuadro crack) If you have ATI inside, forget about stereoscopy ... |

ok thanks. 2 follow up questions: 1) where does one buy a pass through connector 2) does the pass through connector give you real page flipped full resolution stereo, or just interleaved stereo, like the edimensional driver? thanks again. |

1) When you are US located: http://www.nuvision3d.com/ E-mail them, they have them in stock. If you are in Europe, E-mail me. We will send you a price offer ... Delivery can take 2 weeks, we do not have them in stock now ... 2) If you will use Notebook with Quadro Go or Notebok with nVidia card and correct drivers, it will give you full resolution page flipping. Totaly identical to signal from desktop PC and Quadro (or Wildcat) ... |

The image above shows the connector in combination with NuVision 60 GX glasses emitor. We use this setup on moust of our machines (in combination with GeForce 6 cards modified for OpenGL stero mode) as well as with Dell laptop (equped with GeForce 5200 FX modified in software to support OpenGL quad buffering) ... Tell me, please, what exact application do you need to run. maybe I can give you more precise advice. |
