Hi, I've been considering either of the two products however my graphics card (nvdia 6600gt agp) has only dvi connectors. I'm not an expert in computers, but from what I could find a dvi to vga converter would be upwards of $200. My question then is did I completely read the description of either product incorrectly, and are they infact compatible with dvi only connectors? |

Robertm "dvi to vga converter would be upwards of $200" Most DVI only video cards come with a DVI to VGA adapter for free in the box, but if not I think they only cost about $10 bucks or so. Unless you mean somthing else when you say "converter" because I am talking about a plain old DVI to VGA "Adapter" for $10bucks, but I do think that is all you need and it shuold work. I'm not useing one so maybe someone who is can post to tell us if the adapter is all you will need. |

Thanks water1. I did some more research and started finding them for about $10-20. |

I was wondering the opposite thing. I want to use then Z800 on a laptop, that does NOT have a DVI port. Does the Z800 work, without a DVI port? |
