Hi! Check out Stereovision.net for the latest information about Stereoscopic support on all NVIDIA based graphics cards in the latest NVIDIA 7.17 drivers. Fully functional real 3D support in OpenGL! There is information on how to install it and get it to run on the Elsa 3D Revelator or Asus VR-100 glasses, more about the settings that can be tweaked, hardware and software compatibility and even some benchmarks. Here is a snip from the article: ------------------------------ The NVIDIA stereo OpenGL driver is based on Elsa's, since they use the same registry options and even the same values and most of the functions available in the Elsa driver is there in the one from NVIDIA. Fortunately, the driver has been updated a lot, but still has to be worked on to be a decent stereoscopic driver. The laser sight will be very useful and the game configurations are a must for quality stereo gaming, but the most difficult issue is the raw speed. ------------------------------ Bye! Leaked 10.50 drivers now support D3D and OpenGL!!! Only supported in Win9X (thank god for dual boot), but the effect is good. Go to Stereovision.net to get the whole story (at least as much as is known at this time). |
