Time to spend some money :-) I can't decide if I'm going to buy the Z800 or a projector, the Benq PB6240 to be specific. I had my mind on the X3 but the 6240 seems to be a better choice, better specs(2700 ansi compared to 1700 for instance) and I've read here that the 6420 can handle all the way up to 84Hz in stereo(provided by "Hornet" on this site) So I was wondering if anybody have some opinion to share! I'm listening. Thanks |

Hello, the best is self testing before purchase, this have I performed. (5 types of projectors - 1 Panasonic, 1 NEC, 1 HP, 2 Benq -PE 7700, PB6240). Second factor is price, and ev.possibility of mounting of wide angle adapter lens (last i have seen after purchase) Testing of Z800 is extreme problem worldwide, no only in my country. Projector is good also for movies... PS:Benq 6240 max stereo refresh is 86Hz, the little color R/L difference or flicker are no problem-really. |

Sounds very good, The Q is what gives the best gaming experience. And it so bad than one can't try the Z800. The good thing about buying a projector is that I can buy it where I live and maybe try it before I buy it. Can't get it out of my mind though that Z800+TrackIR3 pro and a flightsim might be awesome. |

I personally buy a projector (I Flightsim fanatic) I use this with FS 2004 with active camera , (I think projector and trackir vere possible). Genial is condor soaring simulator (www.condorsoaring.com), I real glider pilot and for winter training this is great. With wide angle adapter and neutral filter and upscaling of DVD on native resolution of projector the movies are very very good. I totally satisfied, |
