Hi, thanks for the help in my previous message. I am finding howeve that it's pretty confusing trying to get hold of the right graphics card with a feature connector, because there are so many damn cards out there with similar names! I read on here that some people had got some AGP cards to work with their VFX1, such as the ATI all in wonder. Any more info on this anyone? Could someone post the exact model name of a decent card with 2d/3d support on the same card with a compatible feature connector? Thanks for the help! | ||

I'm also curious about the ATI. I'm using a Hercules Stingray 128/3D with a VooDoo rush chipset (6MB) and the 3D processor is useless with the VFX1 so far. While the games and head tracking work with Direct3d, the pallet is always messed up badly. So I'm back to software rendering anyhow (which works OK at 1200MHz). Question does the ATI allinwounder do any hardware 3D rendering that works on the VFX1 (as opposed to software rendering as mine). Also anybody had any luck getting VRMOUSE to control European Air War?. Where the heck to you go to get an account around here? |
