Hello

Is there anyway to convert a mono PLM-S700 Glasstron into a true single-input stereoscopic headset?

Yes, but it would require an additional tuner from another PLM-S700 and a special circuit to De-interlace a single SVGA feed, or read alternating page-flips, and pass through to two seperate NTSC composite signals. While not impossible, it's beyond my scope to design such a circuit.

However, there are many good books on the subject of video circuit design, as well as pre-existing schematics for circuits that do part of the task. Some of them can be found here on Stereo3d.com.

If you look down a couple threads, you will find some discussions and links on the topic you ask about. It, however, involves converting it to stereo w/2 seperate input signals. Either way, you will need an extra tuner. the other problem hasn't been totally solved yet.

Perhaps if someone out there has some pics or schematics of the rare stereo glasstrons, that would help.
