Hi, I have a growing collection of side-by-side 3d photos taken with a Loreo 3d lens for my Canon SLR. how can I view these on a Samsung 3d? I assume I can't just open photo viewer and turn on 3d-side-by-side on the TV because the photo would be incorrect proportions. Is there a special side-by-side photo viewer app for Windows? Thanks, Peter |

I, too, am interested in converting my 3D stereo slides (taken with a Pentex stereo camera using standard 35mm slide film). I have a Toshiba 3D TV using active shutter glasses. Is there any way I can make a slide show of these old slides so they will appear in 3D on my TV? |

You can convert your photos into any format for the TV using the free StereoPhotoMaker software. You could use distorted side-by-side format and display it directly on the TV via internal or external card reader. You can convert your photos to the Fujifilm camera 3D-photo format and use the Fujifilm HDP-L1 card reader for TV's, which has an HDMI output and delivers side-by-side also I think. If you want to make use of the full resolution in 3D on your 3D-TV connect a PC with nVidia card and get the nvidia 3D TV software plugin. This will allow output in full-HD qualitiy in the same format as used for 3D Blu Ray. Talking about 3D Blu Ray - there should be a way to create a 3D Blu Ray from your own 3D photos, maybe even videos, but I'd have to look for the right collection of software first. I also wonder if there are already 3D-TV sets or 3D Blu Ray Players which can read full-res 3D-photos, e.g. in MPO-format (Fuji) and display them in full-res 3D. By the way, on the PC, with nvidia 3D Vision and a compatible monitor you have the full res. by default. Christoph |

Does anyone know what format a Blu-Ray 3D movie is in? What I mean, if you were able to view the 3D film on a regular TV, would the two images be side-by-side (with space between) or would they appear to overlap, like you see when you are not wearing the glasses. Also, is there any signal output from the BR disk that is sent to the TV's processor to tell the TV the film is in 3D? I've tried using the software that Christoph suggested, but am at a loss trying to make it work. |

Please disregard my previous posting; I was able to figure it all out. Almost. I am able now to view my stereo pictures on my 3D TV... with one small problem: the image seems "stretched" over the 16:1 screen size. Does anyone know how to correct this? My TV's picture size options does not correct this. Is there anyway to use the StereoMaker software Christoph suggested to adjust for this? Or, is there another program that can compensate for this? Thanks, in advance, for your help. |
