I'm looking into buying some shutter glases for my computer, primarly to play games. I need to use them for pc games and also console games connected through the video input of my Radeon 64. I was wandering if the wise thing to do is to buy the Premium or the 4 in 1 wireless. The difference is 100$. Pc games go through directx but to play console games I need to use a viewer for my input from the desktop. What techinque can I use to make the desktop enviroment 3D?
Beside the software and the extra glasses is there a quality difference between the two?

Thank you for you reply in advance

Leo

Hi Leo,

If you're focus in 3D PC game only, the Eye3D 4-in-1 is good enough for you.
If you want to view some 3D pictures at high resolution ( 1280 x 1024 or more), I suggest you to buy the Eye3D Premium, because the bandwidth issue.
The bandwidth of Eye3D 4-in-1 is 93MHz
The bandwidth of Eye3D Premium is 300MHz.

If you work at high resolution ( 1280 x 1024 or more) with Eye3D 4-in-1, it'll have some text distortion problem, because the bandwidth (93MHz) not enough. for your reference.

Thanks for your reply Kenny.
My other concern is that I play games from consoles that are hooked up to my computer thru my video card. The s-video of the console goes into the video card and is displayed in a window or full screen through windows. The resolution of my desktop is usually 1600 x 1200. Now for this particular application, I'm not going trough Directx and the resolution will stay at the desktop resolution. Is that going to be a problem with the 4 in 1?

Hi Leo,

When you install the Eye3D driver, you'll have a Eye3D icon on your "Display", you can setup the game resoltion in here. or you can select the "override " function, it mean the windows resolution will replace the game resolution when you play the game, don't forget, before you do that, please make sure your grapgic card & monitor effects. always, the game doesn't need such high resolution. as I knew, some games can't support at high resolution 1600x 1200. for your reference.
You're work in 1600x 1200 high resolution, I suggest you to buy the Eye3D Premium is better for you.
