I have a lot of questions coming in about the Nvidia drivers released on 6-6-01 vr. Det 3 12.41 and the VFX3D. 1-The drivers do work with the VFX3D 2-The VFX3D does support page flipping 3-The drivers do work for both DX8.0a and OGL 4-Yes you can run games at what ever resolution and the VFX3D will sync it correctly to the optics. This means you don't have to run at 640X480. I hope this helps. |

Are the points questions or answers ? I have not tested VFX3D on the nVidia graphic cards, but from my experieneces with runing it on other HW with page fliping stereoscopic output, the answers on all 4 point shuld be YES, it works. |

>>> 2-The VFX3D does support page flipping On the VGA-input? I'm not aware of that. Have they changed the controller? My early sample only supported line-sequential on the VGA-input and frame-sequential on the video-input. Christoph |

Christoph: They probably did. They heve even changed the tracking drivers witch have blocked cooperation with third party stereoscopic wrapers (maybe as reaction on my comments ). VFX3D works for HW page fliping from VGA input .... Only one restriction exist now - interlaced mode is supported just only in 640x480 res. No such restriction for HW page flipping exist ... |
