Hi All Has anyone succeeded in viewing visualisations for winamp in stereo with shutterglasses? I'm thinking of visualisations like Geiss and those used in MS media player. The Geiss ones are supposedly direct3d, but I can't get them to work. Do any of you know a trick making it work? Or perhaps other visualisation plug-ins that work in stereo. Alex |

Nice idea! If it's D3D-fullscreen (not just DirectDraw) it should work, at least with some drivers. Which stereo-driver have you tried? Christoph |

I tried with the latest Nvidia stereo driver. Actually, since my first post, I got a couple of the visualisation plugins at http://www.winamp.com/plugins/ to work. Among those working was RabidHaMsTeRs Plugin v105. I'm still not quite satisfied. But there's a developers' kit at the site, so I might try and develop my own stereo-worthy visualisation. I'll keep you posted on the subject. Please do likewise. Alex |

Here's three screenshots from the "Negative Equity" visualisation plugin (can be downloaded from http://www.winamp.com/plugins/). It's pulsating very rapidly during play, and can be somewhat eyestraining. Still, it's the best visaulaisation I've come across so far (hit spacebar to play it fullscreen). Alex |
