Anyone know of a program to convert windows media player files to a format that can be played on a DVD player? is it even possible? |

Evcose that it is possible but no easy way exist ... You have to save the media files in some format witch shuld be imported into mpeg2 encoding software. You shuld than make a converion to VideoCD , SuperVideo CD or even DVD ... Try to have a look on www.dvd.da.ru but it is work for expert anyway ... |

i found a way to do it.it is very easy. i used a program to conver the avi's to mpegs and then just burned them as VCD's. it works great. |

I have forget that you are not speaking about stereoscopic video. It is trivial ... VCD will will never work in stereo on TV - it use progreive mpeg1 deinterlacing compression. The soulution for stereo is only DVD or SuperVideoCD using mpeg2 compresion ... |

its a freeware program called avi2vcd. it about 6 hours to conver an hour avi. it converts frame by frame. then i used nero burning rom to burn the converted file as a VCD. go to vcdhelp.com to see the compatibility list for your dvd player and what blank disks you can use that your dvd player can read. |
