I copied this from my stereovision.net post
----------------------------

I don't know if this was mentioned here yet or not but the release of the new i-glasses capable of 800x600 and 18 bit color has been push from this month to late September. I emailed them yesterday and Ross Rainville replied with the news. They are supposed to go for around US$999. I don't know if there are different configurations or what not, I'm assuming there will be. I can't wait for these babies...

Does anyone know how one would send the new i-glasses a 3D Video feed? I would want the video to be above/below format or page flipping for better brightness and resolution than interlaced and I would need it to be portable for demonstration purposes. If this is possible, I would snap up a pair right away.

Steven:
When I went to the i-glasses sight they seemed to be thrilled that nVidia was supporting stereo right in their drivers. I would assume, but could be wrong, that they will support page flipping.
Feel free to email this Ross guy at i-glasses and ask him. His email is ross@i-glasses.com. Let us know what he says.

If they will not support page flipping
thay are not up to current technology.
VFX3D support page flipping (excelent combination with nVida drivers) for a long time ...
I hope thay will support both stereo video signal, page flipping and interlaced output as VFX3D already does ...

Thanks for the response Stee1HeD. Might you know if the Cybervisor will support pageflipping or above/below format and when it might be out?

I have no idea, but I bet someone here does. That Anonymous dude or dudett seems pretty up to date on things...

What's up with the no page flip support? For $1200 you think you would have the option. I wonder if they would support it at one time down the road or if it's a hardware limitation.

Thought they orginally said they would run around 600 dollars. Wouldnt the Cy-Visor be a better option at this price?? (1200.00)

YES! For what looks like $1250 you could get the system with head tracking as well.

Unfortunately I did not see anything about stereo vision modes being supported when I went looking for info on it. That is a requirement for many. It looks more like a personal viewing tool than a virtual reality device.

The I-Glasses SVGA DOES support page-flipping 3D stereo!

That's the answer I got from their own sales manager at i-O Systems yesterday!

"The i-glasses SVGA 3D will be available at the end of this month, with a
retail price of $1,099.00 US (the 2D only model is $999.00). For orders
placed before 9/21 we are offering a 10% discount. It will be compatible
with the Nvidia 3D stereo drivers
