I have found that the frealy available QuadroView http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?PAGE=windows2000 support realy comfortable OpenGl/Anaglyph stereoscopic visualisation for VRML and OpenInventor files .... It looks like it is an improved personal Space Assistat from TGS ... It is only nessesery to go to the I/O settings panel and enable one of the stereoscopic modes .... Could anybody try it with Soft Quadro ? I have only true Quadro for testing, witch works excelent in OpenGl quad bufered stereoscopic mode ... |

Of course it does work with SoftQuadro. Softquadro does only two things. 1: it disables the chip id checking feature from the driver. 2: it replaces the opengl part of the "standard driver" with the opengl files from the Quadro driver.(you can also do this by editing the .inf file from the driver, you don't have to install your card as a quadro). |

The QuadroView checks in some way the drivers version ... I was only not sure how clever the method is ... Add SoftQuadro - did anybody succesfuly hacked GeForce 3 to Quadro DDR ? Hacking GeForce 3 to Quadro 2 Pro is unstable ... |

I think it has been done. A few months ago someone posted a detonator version 12.90 to "hack" GeForce 3 to Quadro DDR . I think i found the info at www.stereovision.net or at their forum. |
