Hello, all! Last week, I talked with someone named "Marty" who works at I-O Display systems. I asked him about the I-Glasses SVGA. He told me that it uses the same technology as the pathetic Cy-Visor DH-4400. That means a blurry, flickery, absolutely disgusting 480,000 pixel LCD with absolutely no optical filtration! It only simulates a 1.44 million (SVGA) image when the display's color setting is set at its maximum RGB. This means that the resolution will be lower if you wish to customize the display's color setting. I pity the fool who decides to buy this product (or the Cy-Visor DH-4400). |

I have tried the i-glasses SVGA at Siggraph and loved it! It is very clear, not blurry at all, and it did not flicker! I think people who post here should really try the products and give honest, heart-felt feedback, not lies or make things up to make friends. |

I am the Marty referred to above, and I would like to respond to Krosse's statement. The i-glasses SVGA uses i-O Display Systems' patented optical technology along with Zight LCOS microdisplays to create a breakthrough in Head Mounted Display Technology. The image is clear corner to corner. It requires no IPD adjustment. Users can adjust contrast, brightness, and colors without any effect on resolution. The displays run at 120 Hz, regardless of input frequency, so there is no color tear or breakup that can be seen with displays that run at a lower frequency. In short, this is an absolutely beautiful image, and IOD stands behind it with our 30 day money back guarantee. Any product that uses the same technology as the Cy-Visor does not deserve even a first look. |

The Cy-Visor is a great unit and is well worth the money, I own one and am very happy! |

Please disregard the mean overtone of this conversation (on my part). As I said, I am going to attempt to be more willing to accept field-sequential technologies as a viable alternative to conventional displays if I can be shown proof that field-sequential technologies can compete in terms of image quality with conventional displays. |
