Hello- I recently purchased the edimensional glasses which I am very happy with. Now my question is, what would everyone recommend for a high quality, portable yet inexpensive CRT projector so I can do corporate presentations with it? Thanks. |

Hi Mike It sounds a bit difficult. The CRT projectors I know of have three tubes, and need half an hour's adjustment every time they're moved. Plus, they're very big. I think I've heard of one-tube CRT projectors, they might be easier to adjust and more portable. But I don't know of any specific make or model. An alternative could be the VREX VR-4200 3D. It's a DLP projector that's supposed to work with shutterglasses, but it's expensive: US$ 15,995.00. See www.vrex.com for more info. I've tried stereo presentations with shutterglasses for an audience of ten people, and getting all shutterglasses to work was really hell. I had a fixed installation, where you'll proabaly have the additional trouble of mounting infrared emitters for shutterglasses sync. If presentations have high priority, you might consider a system with two projectors and polarised glasses instead. I expect it to be much more robust than a shutterglasses system. Alex |

Mike, the easier solution is an unexpensive LCD projector and anaglyph data/glasses. For "on-the-road" presentations anything else would be very expensive and difficult to install. Giorgio. |
