I am looking into buying a pair of 3d glasses, specifically at i-glasses wireless model ($100 retail). But, I am upgrading my monitor to a TFT/LCD monitor soon and I read somewhere that they don't work with stereo3d. Can anyone shed some light on this problem (if it still exists)? Also, could someone give me a quick review on the i-glasses? I've looked at a lot of reviews and it sticks out as the easiest and most compatible. I was also looking at another-eyes eye 2000 but I can't get those in the US. One more question, I have a very new projector also, it is capable of upwards of 1280x1024 and good refresh rate. I have also read that these don't work in stereo3d? Is this also true? and why not? Thanks for any info!!!

The main problem with LCD projectors and shutterglasses is the afterglow or latency of the projector. It simply can't shift fast enough between left and right eye's pictures. Plus, many projectors have a frame rate converter which puts the picture out of sync with the glasses.

Do a keyword search of this forum. There's lots of discussion on this topic.
