Hi everyone, I'm planning to buy the following system: - http://www.asus.com/products/Motherboard/ddr266/a7v266-e/index.html - http://www.elsa.de/international/europe/produkte/grafikkarten/gladiac921.htm - http://www.eizo.co.jp/welcome/products/crt/t765/spec.html which can do 1024x768 @ 142Hz and 800x600 @ 160Hz I will be running Windows Xp with those Nvidia stereoscopic drivers. So what do you think? What will suit my needs? Will it work? etc... As far as I've read, I'd like to by the Eye 3d premium. How long will it take until I-art will come with new glasses? and nvidia with new stereosc. drivers? Thanks |

I just bought the Eye3D Premium myself, Im just itching for them to arrive in the mail. From what I have found on this site, and what I had found on the net they seem to be the absolute best buy in the price range. If your buying the Elsa Geforce 3 TI500, why dont you spend another $30 or $40 and get the package that comes with the Revelator glasses? I think the Eye3d are much better, but none the less you can get a cheap set of Revelators. I just upgraded my main gaming machine, I bought an ASUS TUV4x, 512MB of PC 133 ram, and a PIII 1.2 Ghz Titanium. I'm really happy with it. For the money I spent I could have bought a faster PIV but I think this was the right choice. I've never operated a Athlon system, but the DDR ram sure seems tempting. Good Luck with your PC. |

Thanks for the quick responses. At the download page for the nvidia stereoscopic drivers (http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?IO=IO_20010614_4380); they claim they are compatible with the following glasses: I-O Displays: H3D and I-Glasses 3D™ E-Let's: Beautiful 3D ELSA: 3D Revelator™ StereoGraphics™: CrystalEyes3™ ASUS: ASUS GeForce3 Deluxe and GeForce2 GTS Deluxe SOooooo, what about the H3D, I thought those were good ones too? |

If you look through this site you will see the author ranks the Eye3d glasses as the best to buy. I don't have them yet, but from what I can see, they work with every available driver and software mode. I haven't seen another set of glasses that can do that. I'm not an expert but I think the H3D are only about as good as the Revelators. I have a set of broken Revelators and I am expecting the Eye3D to be much better. As far as what nvidia lists for compatibility, well you'll have to ask them. Do some homework, take a look at the information on Eye3D here: http://www.demensional.com/eye3d_premium.htm . |

I see so the guy of this site says eye3d premium handles all drivers without problems. I'm not going to buy elsa's if the premiums are better . Although they're cheaper and easier to get. So, there's just one problem: "Win XP does not support the Nvidia 3D Drivers... " I don't believe it. It doesn't (yet)? What about compatibility MODE? Not working? Please tell me more about current windows xp problems. |

The current Nvidia 3D Drivers will not even install with Win XP. |

Elsa has discontinued their glasses. For a review of the eye3d and some other glasses, go to 3dgw.com. |

Well at least Asus 8200 drivers 3D work in XP. I have been using it. You have to have a Asus video card. |
