Thinking once more about stereo GIF animation for web design, I point out that - if we don't care about antialiasing - we can reduce images of wireframe objects to 4-colors (2-bits). Below you'll find a 31-frames 320x240 2-bits animation; 66 kb! In fact we need 1 color for left-eye lines, 1 color for right-eye ones, 1 color for background and 1 color for pixels that must be visible from both eyes. Giorgio. /image{explosion} |
