Visit http://3dplus.ssc.co.kr here's 3Dplus software you can find. They say it can convert ordinary 2D movie titles into stereoscopic movies in REAL time... Also, they said it's real 3D and all type of motions and static images can be converted into 3D... |

Its impossible for it to be REAL 3D. Conversion only approximates depth. Some things appear to be further away than others, but its almost like comparing southpark (done in a 3D application, but made to look 2D) to Toy Story. |

The interesting fact is : ¿Has somebody expert in stereo of this group tried already it? and... how good is the quality of results? I think : First try and then expose the true results. |

I'm currently reviewing the latest enhanced version, but I need some more time. My review of the earlier releases is at http://www.stereo3d.com/3dplus_software.htm Christoph |

I forgot to ask you something. What would you think of a software who claims to turn a black & white-movie into a color-movie or mono-sound into Dolby Digital 5.1 ? Nuff said Christoph |

Enhanced version? Is the version you are reviewing the 2.0 which can play mpeg2 in stereo? If yes where did you get it and is there a trial version of it somewhere on the web? |

I'm a bit unclear on this. Does the software attempt this conversion automatically, or does the user need to define certain fields? |

There is an enhanced version of 3dplus available for download at http://3dplus.ssc.co.kr/ I do not own any of the supported shutterglasses but I would like to know how well it works especially compared to the older version. Try it out and post your impressions. By the way the anaglyph (red-blue) version has been updated too. |

Christoph, Ryan, LOOSE the attitude. Good job spouting insults and unfounded comments. IF you spent your time better READING or LEARNING about that software mabye you would have read this: "Now back to the 3Dplus conversion software. It also tries to use information hidden in movements. Using shutterglasses technology it sends the original stream of images to one eye and a time-shifted stream of images to the other eye. So one eye sees each image a little later or a little earlier than the other eye. Opposed to simple cardboard Pulfrich glasses the time-shift can be controlled. According to Soft4D the converter can detect different kinds of horizontal movements and employs 8 different time-shifts, 4 in each direction. " Black and white movies CAN become color (though not automatically by a program), MANY black and white movies were re-released IN COLOR, and the Mono to Dolby 5.1 comparison is just rediculous and unfounded. Have a nice day... |

I have tried the 3dplus and the so called 3d effect it produces makes me sick and dizzy! I find the fake 3d effect to be way below what is needed to not get sick and function right. Nice thought, bad job! |
