For nearly 5000$ i was thinking it better be good!! I heard it uses the same optics as the cy-visor. I placed an order for the i-glasses svga 3d model about 2 months ago and i am still waiting for shipment of them. They could ship any week now according to i-o displays the engineer has not released them yet.I would be willing though to pay $5000 for an hmd if it would provide total immersion!!!! | ||

I have had no experience with the 5DT HMD I had asked for information on their product a couple of months ago but didn't receive a answer. I received recently from Cybermind information on their hi-Res900 3D which is also immersive, they say that it is less than $4K. and has dual VGA and it looks pretty good. http://www.hi-res800.com But I haven't decided yet I'm still waiting to hear more about the i-glasses SVGA 3D(if and when it is introduced) but I also really want full immersion.
